Q: Where is Goat Boat Tours located?

 

We are situated in the beautiful coastal town of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

Our Departure point is at Dun Laoghaire Marina. See location map at the end of the page.

Q: How long do the tours typically last?

The experience is 1.5hrs, includes a safety briefing and approximately 70 minutes on the water. Passengers must arrive at least 15 minutes before the booked departure time.

Q: What should I wear and bring for the tour?

While we love a bit of glamour, we recommend wearing suitable attire and footwear for your adventure, so high heels are a no. We will provide all weather jackets, pants, lifejackets and binoculars so you don’t miss anything.

Q: Is Goat Boat Tours suitable for children?

We warmly welcome children with a minimum height of 140cm on our tours.

Q: Are the boats wheelchair accessible?

Our boats have been future proofed in design, allowing us to incorporate fully accessible seating. We hope to be in a position to offer fully accessible seating in the 2024 season. 

Q: What happens in case of inclement weather or tour cancellation?

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, Goat Boat Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour. If your tour is cancelled, we will provide you with the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Q: Is there parking or public transport?

Yes, parking facilities can be found near our Marina departure point in Dun Laoghaire. There are also numerous bus routes and Dun Laoghaire Marina is opposite the Dun Laoghaire Dart Station.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for Goat Boat Tours?

We understand that your plans can change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel your tour with Goat Boat Tours, please notify us as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Passengers who need to cancel must do so up to 48hrs from departure. We will endeavour to reschedule your trip or offer you a gift card. If this does not suit you, we are more than happy to offer a refund.

  • Passengers who cancel within 48 hrs of departure will be offered a rescheduled trip or gift card. Refunds are not offered.

  • The company may have to cancel a sailing due to poor weather conditions. If this is the case you will be notified and you can reschedule your booking or avail of a full refund. We will endeavour to contact you as soon as a sailing is cancelled provided we have your contact details.

  • Once payment has been received, all bookings are bound by our Terms and Conditions. As the person making the booking you agree to ensure all participants included within this booking are aware, understand and comply with these conditions.
